Beautiful bride, Hunky groom, chiavari chairs, Mason Jars for cocktail hour, ice cream bar, huge white tent with Canadian flags blowing in the breeze, jimmy choo shoes, custom Jones sodas with the couples photo….. needless to say, I died and went to wedding photographers heaven.
Sasha & Pat held a beautiful a wedding that beautifully mixed rustic, home town charm with all things classy & darling. When I stepped into the huge white tent to capture details, my heart stopped. I was in awe. It was a very similar experience, I imagine, to when Pat saw Sasha during their first look. If you look at those photos below (a series of 3 photos on the porch of the log house), you can see a tear streaming down Sasha’s cheek & Pat is wiping his eyes. The love on that breezy front porch was tangible. They are both so very blessed to have one another…and the best part is, they know it.
Sasha & Pat’s vows would warm even the biggest marriage-skeptics heart. As I stood there listening to their heartfelt expressions of love to one another with goosebumps on my arms and a lump in my throat. THAT is what it is all about. I think that everyone in the crowd witnessing their love learned more in 5 minutes what true love is all about, then what a dozen marriage books could teach you.
It is easy to see why they love each other. Pat is the NICEST guy. Sweet, adoring of Sasha & a gentleman. I think that he is the bee’s knees. Sasha….well besides the obvious girl crush I had on her….is just perfect. In the words of what one of her bridesmaids said to me, “we have been friends for forever…and she is, hands down the nicest person on this earth. She would do anything for anyone. She is such a gentle soul”.
Sasha & Pat. You are the best. Your wedding was so memorable to me, and I love, love, love all the details! What an amazing day!
p.s. I totally ate 2 of the gluten free cupcakes. *wink*
