Katherine and Noel had a pretty spectacular wedding. The day started with such sentimental details. The shoes she wore were the ones her mother wore on her wedding day and the pearls were her grandmothers, just to name a few. I always love when brides incorporate aspects of their history into their wedding day. It really is a beautiful way to connect the past and the present.
Her wedding took place in the heart of Edmonton at the beautiful St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. After the tear-filled ceremony, Katherine and Noel greeted guests that came from all over the globe. Every single person treasured being their to witness this joyous event! We photographed the formal portraits all around Edmonton and the night was ended at the Windermere Golf & Country Club. Katherine and Noel are playful, kind and genuine. They really understand the true meaning of love – which was set by such a beautiful example from their parents. In Noel’s wedding speech he made a tribute to Katherine that ended with “Katherine, You are my volcano… I lava you!” which had her laughing and teary eyed at the same time.
