The moment I walked into Jolene’s home to capture her getting ready details, she greeted me at the door and mentioned that she had a gift for me. I was taken aback. I opened this beautiful gift and pulled out a Stollery Childrens Hospital bear, that is for my dear Noelle. Ever since Noelle was born she has been in the Stollery quite a few times for her heart. It was a beautiful place that does so much good.
When I pulled out the teddy bear, my heart exploded. My eyes welled up with tears as this was one of the most thoughtful gifts that I have ever received. Even thinking about the generosity of Jolene makes me cry all over again!
Jolene and Barry. They both make the world a better place. Literally. Barry is a firefighter in Edmonton and Jolene works at the Stollery.
So it only makes sense that they would have fallen in love.
They decided to have a first look – which was a beautiful moment at the Royal Alberta Museum. The look on Barry’s face when he saw Jolene, just solidified to me why I LOVE first looks.
These two had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on her uncles farm outside of Spruce Grove with its own private lake. The day was nothing less than perfect. The vintage details of the reception were gorgeous and took everyones breath away!
I was thrilled to document their love as these two deserve all the happiness and love the world has to offer.
