I met these two sweethearts at their engagement session. I instantly fell in love with Layne’s adorable scrunchie nose laugh & smile. I love watching Jeff smile at her and laugh at her cuteness. They, without a doubt, complete each other. I LOVED this wedding. LOVED it. It was on Layne’s parent’s farm near Vermilion & it was the most incredibly perfect fall day. She had charming details and such a rustic, vintage, adorable vibe going on. I loved everything from the guy’s grey suits, to Layne’s GORGEOUS dress, to the cutesy coordination purses of the bride & bridesmaids. It was SUCH a perfect day. Perfect for an amazingly sweet couple. Love you both!!!
Please enjoy the intercepted words below, as Layne tells us about her amazing wedding day.

I met Jeff when I was in grade 5 and him in grade 6. We went to different schools, but the schools shared a track. During lunch hours we would meet up to play. Some people say “I could never date that person we are too good of friends”. But I am a firm believer that that a strong friendship is the perfect foundation of a long lasting relationship!
The proposal ohhh all I have to say is poor Jeff. We had been dating for just over 8 years by this time and I was getting anxious….I was watching glee and it just so happened to be the episode 3 couples got engaged…..I started to razz him (not knowing he had just picked the ring up) next thing I know he’s down on one knee!
The most stressful thing for myself was trying to make sure everyone involved was happy, Jeff, myself, as well as my parents and his. It’s a big day for everyone invalid so I did try to keep that in mind as much as I could
When I went dress shopping I had tried on about 10 different very beautiful gowns (gowns that brought my sister and mom to tears) but just didn’t have the same effect on me. I was beginning to think something was wrong with me. Then tried on the dress and within a minute I knew it was the one, and I turned to my sister and told her to cancel my other dress appointments. Trust your instincts!
One of the main reasons I got married at the end of September was for the amazing fall colors! We wanted something that complimented the natural backdrop we had without being too muted or over whelming, and yellow seemed to be an easy choice. Not to bright or too dull, and it went perfect with the grey suits I just had to have the guys in! I have grown up on a farm my whole life, so my parents front yard was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, with that decided the country rustic theme seemed to be an obvious choice
This might sound cliche but we both agreed that our day was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better day in all aspects! We wouldn’t of changed a thing!
The most memorable moment was, without a doubt saying our own vows to each other. Something about expressing our love so boldly to each other, in front of everyone who shared our day was so very powerful.
When planning your wedding try as best as you can to have fun with it! This will be one of the best days of your life, so don’t let the planning process get you down! I promise it will all be worth it!
When booking or looking for your photographer, keep in mind that this will be the one part of your day you will have forever, the one part you get to show your kids and grandkids. No one will remember your centre pieces, backdrop, or flowers in 10, 5, or even 1 year, save money where you can to invest in an amazing photographer, because that’s exactly what it is, an investment!
Radelle, as a person is the most fun loving, easy going, creative person I know! She made the whole wedding party feel so comfortable, not to mention some of the group may have tested her patience at times, but the whole time she was so professional. Her amazing talent is evident in every photograph she captures, with each picture being just as awe inspiring as the next. I was at complete ease knowing she was capturing our day.
I loved hearing Radelle’s expressions after looking at an image she had just captured. Hearing how excited she would be would make me sooo giddy. Something about hearing the photographer say, ” oh you guys are going to just love this” always made me smile.
I would without a doubt recommend Eternal Reflections to everyone I know, in fact I am! There is no denying that both Radelle and Kari have found what God intended for them to be doing as a career, and I feel so blessed to have been lucky enough to have Radelle capture my special day, as any other bride would feel as well!
