I am back from Mexico. And this morning I laid in bed, not wanting to budge. The air around me was cold. Which is unacceptable and unfair.
My body had become customed to the warm humid mexican air. There is nothing cold about Mexico. So why, oh why did I board that plane
and come back to cold cold Edmonton? I am still working on my list of reasons on moving to Mexico, or anywhere tropical for that matter.
I need palm trees. I need ocean. I need heat. Which is oddly funny, because, well, Edmonton doesn’t have any of the above.
So why did I board that plane in Mexico to come back to Edmonton? As much as the grizzly winters with short summers make me snarl, I love it.
But why do I love it? Well, the only reason I can come up with, is because it is home. Home means alot to me. Home is a safe haven. Home.
Mexico, was fabulous!!!!!!!! I loved every minute of it!! Mr. Burgess and I tried to embrace the sun, but it bit back. On my shoulders specifically.
The humidity turned my straight locks into shirley temple curls. I felt like I was 12 again. The amazing Buffets and On-resort Resaurants filled my stomache.
The # on the scale proves it. All which make an amazing holiday.
Shannon and Tylers beautiful beach wedding was, well, lets just say, it was PHENOMINAL!
They are such a beautiful couple. and you know what? Their family and friends are just as beautiful inside and out.
So, I am going to leave you with 1 photo from the wedding. Consider it an appetizer to a 3 course meal!
