    Tracey & Jeremy {Edmonton Engagement Photographer}

    June 30, 2010

Edmonton’s weather has been crazy for the past few weeks. Tracey, Jeremy & I thought their shoot was

never going to work out. We had to re-schedule it 3 times because of rain…and the night that was supposed

to be sunny….turned into a downpour. I worked my mad skills & we drove around chasing sunlight to get photos.

    And get photos we did.

Because it was raining all around us, the evening felt magical to me. Not to mention the connection that I felt

with these two. Tracey told me that I email in such a friendly, personable way that she already felt that she

knew me. I felt the same way about her.  I am so excited to photographer her lovely Beaumont/Edmonton wedding

    this fall!

I have to share one cool, cool thing. In addition to the evening having a magical feel to it…something neat happened.

I had asked tracey to go sit in some grass…and after she sat she looked down & between her knees was a perfect

little nest with 4 little robin eggs in it! I KNOW RIGHT?!!! (don’t worry, we did not bother or touch them)

Upon coming home & getting all geeky with Adam (who LOVES birds), we discovered that Gypsies see robins

as a bringer of good luck.

    How wonderful is that?

**  View their slideshow HERE **

    He makes her so happy.

Tracey, you are SO beautiful! Inside & Out!!

I adore the feeling in these next two Fine Art images.

    Jen & John {Edmonton Engagement Photography}

    June 20, 2010

    -By Adam

These two knew each other in high school & re-met later in life. I think their story is awesome, because it is
similar to Radelle & I’s story (although we didnt go to school together. Rather, we met when she was 19 and remet when she was 24).
It was clear that fate had played a huge, huge role in bringing these two together.
I enjoyed photographing these two around the Royal Alberta Museum. These two are planning a
fantastic wedding for later this year in edmonton!
    Enjoy your mini photo preview!

    Brittanee & Chad {Engagment}

    June 7, 2010
    -By Radelle
**You can view their short & sweet slideshow HERE
    ____________________________________________
Yesterday I wrote about her. About Brittanee.
Today I will tell you about Chad's eyes. First of all, anyone with eyes can see
that he is a super hunk, BUT when you look into his eyes, they are the coolest eyes ever!
When I mentioned it, Brittanee said they remind her of a skating rink that someone
had skated on & the ice had cracked a little all over. That is exactly what they are like.
So intense with faint colored streaks throughout. Unreal.
Being around these two made me run home & hug  my husband. I was so full of love & joy
just from witnessing their love & joy.
These two sweethearts are getting married in Maui next year! Holla!
(Beautiful makeup by Sarah: Faces by Olive)

    A model right?

    June 5, 2010

Surely this girl is a paid model right?

    WRONG.

She is my client & I may have a crush on her.

    Why?

Because, as I was doing her & her finances’ engagement photos (stay tuned!!) he told me about her

    and how wonderful she is.

You see, she is stylish & cute & sweet with looks that are out of this world.

    BUT

    she is also

(as he said beamingly) <—is that a word?

    outdoorsy & ruggad.

She is comfortable enough in her own skin to just be natural. To embrace things he loves

as though shes loved them her whole life.

    Because maybe she has.

    Because maybe they are perfect.

Check back Monday & you will see them together.

    It’s magic.

p.s. Become a fan of us on facebook!! (eternal reflections photography)

    Taryn & Brandon

    May 31, 2010

Taryn & Brandon laugh together a lot. This does my heart good as I think that that kind of laughter

is key to an awesome marriage.

These two lovebirds are sealing the deal next spring (2011) in the Bahamas (sweet!).

You might feel that this lovely lovely face looks familiar. If so, thats because we recently

    photographed her sister!

I had so much fun on this shoot & laughed so often that it reminded me that I have the best job

    in the world!

p.s. cheers to Tim Hortons (wink)

Earlier this week I promised more photos of Sarah and Jesse and their Fabulous Engagement Session, and I never go back on my promises. ever.

They are always laughing or smiling!! Always…

Never was their a dull moment with these two. Whether it was because Jesse was chuckling at Sarah and I, and how much we ‘click’,
or the fact that we had a lot of visitors on the railroad tracks!
The way Jesse would just stare in awe of Sarah, can really make a girl tear up!
Their love is Fabulous. Their love is inspiring. Their love is classic.

    Edmonton Wedding Photographer/Unique Edmonton Wedding Photographer/ E-Session {Sarah & Jesse}

    May 18, 2010

While shooting this engagement session, we spent a little bit of time on the train tracks right by Whyte avenue, in Edmonton.
While I was in the  middle of taking a photo…. Jesse- the groom-to-be, yells ‘Train!”
I don’t even hestiate. My adrenaline pumped up. All 5 scenses were on full alert! I bolted like a Deer, trying to get out of the way.
Sweat attacked my brow. Then I saw Sarah’s bag on the train track, and started running for it…
I think I could make it in time… Is it worth my life??
What could possibly be in that bag worth my Life??

My heart was racing a million beats per millisecond. I was a machine. I probably could have lifted the train, if I had to.
In all my panic, I looked back at Sarah and Jesse, and have noticed that they haven’t even budged.
    Huh?

‘A trains coming!!’ I yell as if I had noticed it first…
To which Jesse replies ‘They can’t come over here, it’s blocked off by that huge cement block…its actually in reverse, now lining up to the train station”
“Oh, right! Ya…I see that now…”
All I could do was laugh it off….once I caught my breath..

    How Embarrassing….

I loved spending the evening with Sarah and Jesse! These two have the cutest love. They laugh all the time. All the time.
But, here is a sneak peek of their E-Session… I will post more in a few days. I just couldn’t wait to put up a few photos.
p.s- How Gorgeous is Sarah?? … They are a good lookin’ couple!

    {Eternal Love} – What is it?

    April 21, 2010

You get it. You get it.

We’ve said it a million times. We only shoot romance.

    Weddings. Engagements. Weddings. Engagements.

    …and that is still true.

Although because we have an inbox full of lovely people wanting husband-wife & boyfriend-girlfriend shoots,

and because it is still “romance”, we are going to do it. And we are SOOO excited!!

    ~Introducing {Eternal Love} Shoots~

    What is it?

This is very, very similar to the style of our Engagement Sessions,

except that you don’t have to be Engaged! You can just be.a.couple.

You can be a married couple who needs updated images of their love.

One of the things I love the most, is when couples have a giant canvas above

their bed of just the two of them. Their love. Them being soft&cuddly&tender; or one

of them laughing their faces off. But a really nice, sweet closeup…of THEM.

(without kids, without bills, without mortgages, without stress, without full calenders. Just THEM)

These limited sessions are now available in the Edmonton area & also in Drayton Valley area.

(please note: These sessions are not newborn or family sessions. We still do not do those. But are very happy to refer

    other fabulous photographers)

    _______________________

    Session Details

You will receive a DVD with all of the hand touched pictures. Oh, and don’t be too surprised, there is always

more pictures on there then people expect…that’s right, because we are sneaky and catch little candid romantic moments!

( forget buying art for your house,  put up enlarged pictures of yourself around your house…its cute…).

                                                  ::    1 hour & 30 minutes
:: Location(s) of your choice (park, funky industrial area, downtown area, vintage buildings, picnic…)
:: You will receive all of the Hand-touched images on a top-Quality DVD (usually about 2 weeks after session)

    {spring love} Edmonton Engagement Photography

    March 31, 2010

    -By Radelle

Lets keep this simple. He looks at her with complete adoration, where if he could, he would tuck her in his back pocket
just so that he could spend all day with her.
She looks at him like he is the best thing alive. And he is.
Years ago, she looked at him across a room & knew that he was an amazing man.
To say that their love is amazing is cliche, but it is.
    It’s amazing.

    Edmonton Engagement Photographer| Love them!

    January 18, 2010

To say that these two are meant to be is an understatement. Besides being in love with Chantal’s eyes & adorable
boots (and Blains cool jeans), I fell in love with them & their quiet love.
They are just simply magical together. The way that they look at each other & speak so softly to one another would
    make you melt.
Enjoy your sneek peek slideshow you two! (many, many more on you image disc!)

    Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Engagment

    January 13, 2010

They met at a small town baseball tournament. Him a ruggadly cute farm boy, her a stunning and sporty city girl.

Im pretty sure her amazing eyes and his charming dimple were meant to be.

Britney is a totally relaxed bride. They have planned their wedding so that it doesnt interfere with

their baseball season. I love that!

I insist that we use a bat, or baseball gloves somehow in their wedding photos.

I felt like an old friend to these two, and to be around their love and genuineness was my honor.

(here is a sneek peek. Britney your disc with a TON more images should be arriving tommorow! Yay!)

Their love is easy. It is playful. He is always teasing her, and she loves it.

    E-Session (Engagement Session)

I love when people bring their Thang to the session. When they work it.

When I first met these two, I loved their style. They were so “them”.

They were so cute. So darling. And they WORKED it!

I truely feel that I have the best job in the world, an

Edmonton (and area) wedding photographer. And

an International Wedding Photographer. These two are

planning a tropical getaway wedding. With it being -40

outside, im thinkin’ that they are wise. Enjoy looking at

    their awesome faces.

    Edmonton Wedding Photographer| California Love

    November 20, 2009

When I was around 7 years old, my dad took me to an auction sale. I have no idea what he was buying,

but after I got my bag of chips, I wandered off.  Pretending to be Anne of green gables. On a new farm for

the first time.  Unsure of my future. Wishing for a bosom buddy.

    When she appeared.  My Diana.

I have no idea what her name is now.  But she was my auction sale friend.

It was kindred spirits at first sight. We played all afternoon. Ran through fields.

Picked flowers. Pretended we were the belles of the ball. Hit up our dads for more

fries&gravy money. and laughed. I remember we mostly laughed.

We exchanged mailing addresses and promised to write. But little girls are fickle creatures,

and we most likely lost the addresses before we even got home.  But that is no matter,

auction girl was important to me.

When I first met Gladys in California, I felt the same way. There was just something about her that I was drawn to.

Something that made her special to me. Something that told me that we would be friends.

This time, I wont lost her address. Afterall, we have facebook to keep us connected.

It could be her easy & lovely laugh, or her sparkly eyes. Or both. But the fact is,

    I thinks she is awesome.

She is getting married in a vineyard in california next year. In 364 days.

She is going to be a beautiful Bride. I am so happy for her!

(btw: I love Orange County so much that I just might marry it) Here are a couple of shots, from today of a couple of couples (tounge twister perhaps?). Many more to come, but now I must hop in my jacuzzi tub, read a book, put on fuzzy socks, make my hotel room all messy because I can and live the good life.
