We have such a love of the Drayton Valley area! In so many ways, it is like going to Jasper, without the drive! Okay, with out the Mountains as well…..but still! It is so beautiful out there! We have photographed quite a few weddings in the Drayton Valley area & have LOVED the resulting photographs. Drayton Valley is blessed with an incredible river valley with tall, tall trees and breathtaking scenery. Evansburg & Entwistle (Pembina River Provincial Park) in the Drayton Valley area also houses a gorgeous and charming river valley. Grabbing our old tubes & going floating down the river is something that we LOVE to do on a lazy summer evening. We were able to be a part of the Drayton Valley bridal fair & get to know other vendors in the area! We had such a lovely time connecting with the people who service the wedding industry & the brides of DV. We look forward to more opportunities to photograph brides in the unparalleled natural beauty surrounding the small town of Drayton Valley.

We took our camera & walked around and got some photos of vendors. We hope that drayton valley brides, planning their weddings, find this blog post to be a helpful wedding planning resource.

    Disclaimer & Tips for Brides:

-It is important that you do your own research & choose vendors carefully. The success of your wedding day, depends largely on hiring amazing top-notch professionals who will do their very best to serve YOU.

    Some questions to ask:

-Ask how many years they have been in business

    -Ask for referrals

-With venues, make sure that you know if they have a liquor license, or if you need to handle that for your event.

-Get a quote or a written contract about services being offered

-With any food product (catering or cakes) ensure that they have all of the proper food permits & have taken the food safety course so that your guests do not get sick

-Ask all the questions you need, to ensure that you are crystal clear on exactly what you are paying for & what you receive in return

-If you love your vendor, recommend them! Amazing vendors are hard to find!

Kari & I (Radelle) were able to enjoy family day together with our families (and each other). We enjoyed sledding, a BBQ, skating, beautiful weather and gabbing about how cotton candy looks exactly like pink insulation. I love my little family so much & love that Kari is my sister and that we can enjoy family day together with our little families! Here is a tiny peek at our day yesterday.

Fact. I have the best brides in the world.

For all you brides to be: I got  Eternal Reflections Photography to do my wedding pictures and that was probably one of the best decisions I made for my big day! My pictures are gorgeous and I have had so many compliments on them not to mention I gained a lifelong friend in the process. I know how hard it is to make decisions for your big day, but using her was honestly the easiest decision I made and one that I will never regret

-Kirsten Stefura {Drayton Valley Wedding 2011)

I just wanted to say a quick thank you, I cannot & have not stopped looking at our photos since they’ve come in the mail. I am having a terrible time deciding which to print because I LOVE them ALL!I cannot thank you enough for doing what you do. Looking at the pictures, you captured so many moments, so many things, I’m so thankful. Each time I flip through them I spot something I didn’t notice the last time I looked at it. I’ve had nothing but compliments from those who’ve seen them! Thank you Radelle! You are truly amazing at what you do!
