Ali & Karl, two of the sweetest people in the universe, said their ‘I do’s’ on the beach of the Okanagan Lake.
They have been through a lot together, which only has brought them closer and appreciate each other on a deeper level.

As Ali said  “I know I have found someone who will love and support me through anything and I also would also do anything in the world for him and the love we have.”

There love was SO evident when photographing their engagement session last year, but on their wedding day, anyone with eyes could see how much they truly cherish one another.  They know and treasure what they have.

There wedding was located in the lovely Okanagan at the Paddlewheel Park in Vernon. Their colors: coral and light grey, brought such elegance to their beach wedding.
Ali & Karl’s wedding was flawless. From darling custom signs for the ring bearers to the hangers the bridesmaids put their dresses on. Not a detail missed.

They decided to do a first glance prior to the ceremony. This is always such a fantastic option (doing all the photos before the ceremony), as the first glance is such a beautiful intimate moment between just the two of them.  It also is such a kind gesture to your guests, as the reception/cocktail hours follows right after the ceremony.

The reception was filled with support and love from all their family and close friend. Copious amounts of fresh flowers (straight from the garden) were arranged on the tables making it such a quaint atmosphere. Love filled the room.

“The easiest decision that I made was picking my photographer, Kari Burgess from Eternal Reflections Photography. Her work is amazing and hands down she’s the best photographer in Canada. I wanted the photos to have a light, romantic feel and she exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend her for any girl’s wedding.” -Tannis.

Tannis + Vedran.

Two of the most gracious and kind people on this earth.
The moment I knocked on their Hotel Macdonald hotel room, I was greeted by smiles, laughter and a very cute dog… and a glass of orange juice in a champagne glass.
I knew that this day would be perfect in every way.
Tannis wore a gorgeous cage gown and added a unique touch to her wedding day. Ballet slippers.
How perfect.

All of her bridesmaids/mother and her darling new neice, were there with her helping her get ready.
Of course, Crystal McClung from Perugia Salon did a stunning job on her hair. Everything she creates is a work of art.

The ceremony was intimate and meaningful. With all of their wedding guests standing around them showing their support, with misty eyes. The feeling in that room was speachless.

For formal photos, we went to the U of A Campus, which always creates a beautiful setting for photos. One of my favorites. The unique buildings  with gorgeous pathways always add beautiful dimension to photos.

Her Reception was at the Hotel Macdonald in the Wedgewood room where Kristina McAnally waved her magic wand and *poof* everything was GORGEOUS!!
She does such a wonderful job designing and decorating.

Tannis + Vedran, I truly wish you all the best in your life together. I am so grateful to get to know you both.
I am so touched by the love you have for eachother.
May you have many adventures and travels together and fulfill all your dreams.

Italy is like nothing I have ever seen before. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth, which is why Meghan and  Mike decided to have their beautiful wedding at a Villa in the Tuscany hills just outside of Siena.
Their wedding could not have been more perfect.
They opted to have their ceremony as the sun was setting, which allowed for beautiful lighting. The Italian tuscan sun is gorgeous, and every photographers dream!
This wedding was romantic, chic and delicate. Each and every detail was planned out perfectly- even with a childhood picture of Mike on Meghans bouquet.
Italy is becoming more and more popular for destination weddings. Its rustic charm is pulling brides from all over the world to celebrate their love.

Congratulation Meg & Mike.
May you have many wonderful years of bliss…

The beautiful Villa that Meg and Mike (plus all the guests) stayed at.

Isn’t it breathtaking?

Meg and Mike wrote thank you cards to all their guests on the back of cute Italian post cards.Her GORG-eous dress.

I Love that Mikes suit was made in Italy. Gotta love Armani!

The colors in her bouquet and in his boutineer matched the Villa perfectly.

Meg rocked a beautiful high fashion ‘vogue-y’ veil!

They are such a beautiful couple!

The famous Tuscany view (no, really it is famous- its on post cards!!) where Meg had her ceremony.

Mike vows were so heartfelt. I think it brought tears to everyone, especially Meg.

Proud parents.

Cute details pre-reception.  Meg made her Italian wedding very memorable.

The lovely tablescape.

The Alfresco dining was a perfect ending to perfect wedding.

Her bouquet with the childhood photo of Mike.

Meg had two looks for her wedding. So we decided to make the most of the delicious sunlight and get a few more of her and Mike

Meg workin’ the hot red lips and birdcage veil!

The grapevines in Italy are a perfect backdrop for any wedding photo!
